MPAC Membership

The Montana Performing Arts Consortium has restructured membership fees and conference registration. Our goal is to make our organization more inclusive and accessible to professionals in the performing arts community and deliver the member benefits that you have been asking for!

 

Starting this year, MPAC participants will pay members dues and conference registration separately.

Membership

  • Performing arts colleagues may become members by signing up and paying dues through this website.

  • Joining MPAC gives you access to the Member Dashboard which is where you can access your benefits and resources. 

  • Dues are set by the MPAC Board. Presenter dues are tiered based on the organization’s annual artist fees. Artist, agency, and service organization dues are fixed. 

  • We also offer discounted membership for non-presenting entities that occasionally book outreach events or other live performances. Examples include schools, libraries, community centers, and any nonprofit that needs entertainment for a gala or other special event.

Conference Registration

  • Conference registration is available to members only. First, sign up for membership (below). Then you can purchase your conference registration.

  • Conference registration may be purchased through the Member Dashboard.

  • Artists invited to showcase are required to register for the conference (and become members) or have representation with an agent who is a member and conference registrant.

Will this cost more than last year's conference?

No, or the difference is minimal.

 

The total MPAC member dues and conference registration for October 2024 is very close to or similar to conference registration rates from October 2023. Please see your member section below to compare this year’s “dues + conference fee” with the October 2023 conference rates.

The performing arts is for everyone! And MPAC is a great resource for anyone who would like to take advantage of outreach opportunities and performances through our network, even if your organization or company is not in the business of live entertainment in the same way a typical touring artist presenter is.

This membership level is best for the following types of organizations, companies, or institutions:

  • Schools interested in outreach performances on campus

  • Nonprofits planning special events with live entertainment (galas, red-carpet events, etc.)

    • Includes symphony orchestras, art galleries, or other community organizations

  • Libraries offering performing arts events 

  • Individuals or other entities that present house concerts

  • Any community center or other organization seeking performing arts outreach opportunities

Community organizations with this type of membership may not always feel the need to attend our Annual Showcase & Conference and that is okay! You can still take advantage or our member directories and participate in block-booking to bring a great show to your community.
